Hey guys! I can't hardly wait until monday practise I missed two weeks because of my injured back and spring break. And i fell so out of shape .But anyways I hope i will be able to make to concord next week because it was really fun and good experience.
by the way look what they said about me on their kung-fu forum :)
Being the token Muay Thai guy, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in myself for not sparring more, but my first sparring session pretty much took it out of me. Michael landed some good strikes to my ribs which I wouldn't call light contact, and I decided to sit out the rest of the throwdown. My ribs are still quite sore from what I think was a right hook to the body near the end of the session. I also wasn't defending myself well against body shots and high kicks. He landed a lot of those, and I need to work on that. That kid can hit hard, and he clearly has a lot more sparring experience than I do. I learned a lot from it, and he gave me some good pointers on using combos.
See you on monday! OSU!!! Michal
P.S. Justin I hope you will show up on practise soon.
